Hi, I’m Jon Warlick and I love to preserve people’s happy memories! I understand it can be difficult to find a cinema team that can tell your story in a way that fits your style. It’s really hard to put into words! But, you know it when you see it.

This is where I can help. If you’ve seen some of the films I’ve been fortunate enough to create, and something just hit the right vibe, I just might be your filmmaker! I can use my technical skills, as well as that difficult-to-identify artistic “something”, to capture and present your celebration as a forever keepsake. I like to find the perfect balance between fun/funny and emotional/romantic. That’s what a great wedding day is to me!

Here’s a few details about me. I’m from Clayton, North Carolina, and I have lived in Raleigh for over 10 years. I picked up a DSLR in my 20s determined to take cool long exposure photos of the stars. I crept under fences in cow pastures in the middle of the night and took the wildest long exposures, sometimes as long as 45 minutes, until the star trails formed huge swirls in the sky! I’m still able to use this skill to take stunning time lapses of wedding venues under the night sky.

A few years later, a friend asked me to second shoot weddings with her, and getting paid for photography was a huge temptation! After dabbling in the wedding photo scene, an acquaintance asked me if I could do a wedding video. Well, my camera had a video mode, so I took the gig and watched the top-viewed wedding videos on YouTube all up until the big day. The response was loud and clear. I had found my niche!

Within a year, I was booking so many wedding video projects that I had to quit my job and go all in, full time. I’ve never looked back and have been grateful to film weddings exclusively for the past 9 years!

I am always evolving, always innovating, and always down to have a great time with couples, making the process of creating films a breeze. I’ll keep you laughing, running and spinning and you’ll be amazed as you watch what I create for your enjoyment over your lifetime together!
