What is your brand's approach to wedding filmmaking?

With all of the different options out there to provide wedding videography for your big day, it can be difficult to know which vendor to choose. One of the most important things to consider in a wedding video service is the approach of the brand. To me, this means the style and flow of the story being told on screen. The style could refer to the look of the colors, the angles of the shots and the cinematic feel of the imagery you see. The flow could refer to the pacing of the story and the way the timing on the film creates an emotional reaction in the viewer.

Our style over the years has evolved quite a lot but our aim is usually to give the look of the imagery a film quality. This includes colors inspired by classic film stocks and a light film grain. This helps the films have a nostalgic quality and makes your wedding day look like a classic! We also rely heavily on narrow angles with a shallow depth of field (blurry background) that really isolates little moments of the wedding day, helping you to jump into your memories and spend as long as you like there.

Lastly, the flow of our films aim for a dreamy but linear expression of the day. Our videos begin with the empty venue being prepared and you two as a couple getting ready. Snippets of your letters or interview help to put you back in the state of mind you were in during this time and recall all of the emotions: excitement, joy, nervousness, celebration and true love! The film will take you through the ceremony, reception, speeches and of course the party at the end, taking you through a beautiful journey full of details that will make you feel the bliss of the day over and over again.
